  • Rationalised and documented an Accounting firm's IT infrastructure. This included the migration of their website and email onto new systems. Deployed a standardised build to reduce support costs. Provided a secure and monitored connection to the internet.
     
  • Worked with a large Financial institution to provide a resilient, and scalable Microsoft SQL cluster that all their line of business systems connected to. Also implemented a network wide monitoring solution that is based on Microsoft Operations Manager.
     
  • Migrated a NT4 Domain and Exchange 5.5 infrastructure to Windows 2000 Active Directory with Exchange 2000 system for a medium sized development company based in Glasgow. Designed and implemented a  backup strategy that provides for point in time restores of critical code.
     
  • Provided timely support for a failed Exchange infrastructure. After carrying out a disaster recovery on the exchange services we proceeded to put controls and technology in place to prevent the situation from reoccurring.
